Role Description The Business Development Manager internship at Scalup is an on-site role based in Srinagar. Interns will identify and engage prospective learners and institutional partners, conduct outreach via calls, meetings, and events, and present Scalup’s programs and internship offerings. They will support lead generation, nurture leads through the sales funnel, and maintain accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and academic teams to align messaging, collecting feedback from learners and partners, and contributing to growth strategies.



Interns are expected to participate in regular reviews, report performance metrics, and support local promotional activities. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.
• Candidates should possess skills in sales, negotiation, and basic business development practices, including lead generation and pipeline management.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, meetings, and follow-ups efficiently.
• Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to understand market needs, interpret basic data, and propose practical solutions.
• Candidates should possess digital literacy, including familiarity with office productivity tools, CRM or tracking systems, and social media platforms.
• Relevant coursework or experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial; prior exposure to EdTech or education services is a plus.
