OAK Studio (Order After Kayoss) is looking for a 2D Animator / Motion Artist to help create narrative cutscenes for our game. We’re looking for illustrated, atmospheric storytelling using layered artwork, expressive movement, camera work and transitions to bring key story moments to life. What you’ll do:
• Turn story briefs and scripts into storyboards and animatics.
• Animate layered 2D illustrations, characters and environments.
• Create depth and movement through parallax, camera animation,



lighting effects and transitions.
• Work with our team to establish the cutscenes’ visual style, pacing and mood.
• Sync animation with dialogue, music and sound effects.
• Prepare and deliver final sequences for use in the game. What we’re looking for:
• A portfolio demonstrating strong 2D animation or illustrated motion work.
• A positive understanding of composition, timing, cinematic storytelling and visual atmosphere.
• Experience working with layered artwork and compositing.
• Proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Spine, Toon Boom Harmony, or a comparable workflow.
• The ability to communicate clearly, respond to feedback and work to agreed deadlines. Illustration skills and experience creating game cutscenes are a plus. Please send your CV and portfolio over at [email protected]
