Data Engineer – Informatica PowerCenter & BDM Type: Full-time, hybrid Locations: Bengaluru, Chennai, or Gurugram

Experience:
8+ years We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Big Data Management (BDM). The successful candidate will build and maintain reliable, high-volume ETL pipelines that integrate data from on-premises, file-based, and mainframe systems into AWS S3 and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities
• Data Engineering & Pipeline: Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica BDM — building and maintaining ETL pipelines across on-premise, file-based, and mainframe source systems, handling high-volume data efficiently.
• Storage & Processing: AWS S3, Snowflake — loading and curating data via Informatica BDM, with attention to performance and governance across layers.
• Source & File Handling: Mainframe source files with copybook/layout interpretation, diverse file-based systems, and on-premises data extraction.




• Domain & Tooling: Data Products, reconciliation architecture, Git (BDM code check-ins), JIRA (requirement & defect tracking) — delivering reliable, traceable pipelines in a regulated banking environment Required Skills and Experience
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience with Informatica Big Data Management (BDM).
• Experience building ETL pipelines across on-premises, file-based, and mainframe sources.
• Familiarity with mainframe files, copybooks, and record layouts.
• Experience with AWS S3 and Snowflake.
• Understanding of data products, reconciliation processes, and data governance.
• Experience using Git and JIRA.
• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
