Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer at Aenrox Engineering. The intern will support the design team by creating, updating, and managing 2D and 3D CAD models for components, assemblies, and systems used in AI, robotics, and automation projects. Daily tasks include preparing technical drawings and construction drawings, refining design concepts,



and ensuring models align with engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements. The role involves collaborating with engineers and researchers to translate product requirements into detailed design documentation, reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback, and maintaining organized design files. The intern will also assist in design reviews, contribute to design improvements, and learn best practices in design engineering and product development workflows. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and design engineering for mechanical, robotics, or product design applications.
• Ability to create accurate technical drawing and construction drawings for components and assemblies.
• Proficiency in drawing and visual representation to communicate design ideas clearly.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to CAD design.
• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow design standards, and solid organizational skills for managing CAD files and documentation.
• Comfort working remotely, collaborating via digital tools, and receiving guidance from engineers and mentors.
• Exposure to robotics, automation, or embedded systems design is an added advantage.
