Dagina 3D is a retail technology solution that transforms a single physical jewellery piece into a dynamic, virtual showroom. Using AR try-on technology, customers can see how necklaces, earrings, bangles, and other pieces look on them in real time, directly through a phone or tablet camera.

About the Role
This is a freelance, remote 3D Modeller role based in India. The 3D Modeller will create high-quality 3D models of jewellery pieces optimised for AR try-on experiences, ensuring accurate geometry, proportions, and visual fidelity. Daily responsibilities include translating design references into detailed 3D assets, establishing clean topology, applying materials, and setting up lighting to achieve realistic renders. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, developers, and product teams to maintain consistency with brand standards and technical requirements, as well as iterating on assets based on feedback. The 3D Modeller will also support asset optimisation for performance, manage version control, and maintain an organised library of models for use across the Dagina 3D platform.

Qualifications:




• Strong 3D design and 3D modelling skills, with experience interpreting jewellery or product design references into accurate 3D assets.
• Hands-on experience as a 3D Modeller using Blender, Autodesk Maya or similar 3D tools to create production-ready models.
• Proficiency in lighting setup and material application to achieve realistic, visually appealing renders suitable for AR environments.
• Understanding of asset optimisation, topology, UV mapping, and file management for real-time or AR applications.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements.
• Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work to deadlines within a fast-paced product environment.
• Relevant education or training in 3D design, animation, visual effects, industrial design, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in jewellery, fashion, product visualisation, or AR/VR projects is an advantage.
