Role Description This is a hybrid internship role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work from home. As an SDE Intern (Founding Team) | AI x Dev Tools, the intern contributes to designing, building, and improving backend services and developer tools that power Alan AI’s agent-based platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing features, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with senior engineers on architecture and design decisions. The intern also helps integrate AI workflows into development pipelines, troubleshoot technical issues,



and iterate quickly based on user and team feedback. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript).
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them to real-world projects.
• Interest in AI, developer tools, and building products that improve engineering productivity.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented startup environment, take ownership of tasks, and learn quickly from feedback.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), testing practices, and basic cloud or DevOps concepts is a plus.
