JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for developing and expanding international sales of Ion Exchange Resins (IXR) and related water-treatment products across global markets. The role involves identifying recent export opportunities, developing international distributors and key accounts, managing relationships with industrial end users, OEMs, EPC contractors and consultants and leading the export sales team. The position will drive export revenue, profitability, market penetration and sustainable business growth across Power, Refinery, Steel, Fertilizer, Nuclear, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and other relevant industrial sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute export sales strategies and annual business plans for Ion Exchange Resins (IXR), targeting international markets and key industrial segments.
- Identify and develop new export markets, customers, distributors, agents, channel partners, OEMs, EPC contractors and consultants to expand the global customer base.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international customers, industrial end users and strategic accounts across Power, Refinery, Steel, Fertilizer, Nuclear, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and other relevant sectors.
- Lead the complete export sales cycle, including lead generation, market development, technical-commercial discussions, quotations, negotiations, order finalization and customer relationship management.
- Understand international customer requirements for process water, water treatment, wastewater treatment, non-water applications and specialty applications, coordinating with technical and R&D; teams to recommend suitable resin solutions.
- Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, pricing, customer requirements and emerging business opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
- Manage sales forecasts, order execution coordination,



payment terms and receivables to achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Production, Quality, Logistics, Finance and Regulatory/Documentation, to ensure timely order execution and compliance with export documentation and applicable international trade requirements.
- Lead, mentor and monitor the performance of the export sales team, including Sales Executives and above, to achieve business objectives.
- Develop strategic accounts, improve customer retention, increase repeat business and establish a strong international presence for the company's Ion Exchange Resin, Water Treatment & Specialty Chemicals portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

- B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical, B.Sc in Chemistry, Diploma in Chemical Engineering, B.B.A. / B.M.S. in Marketing, International Business
- MS/M.Sc(Science) in Chemistry, MBA/PGDM in International Business, Marketing

EXPERIENCE:

- 8 to 12 years of experience in international B2B sales, export sales or business development, preferably in Ion Exchange Resins, water-treatment chemicals, specialty chemicals, bulk chemicals or related industrial products.
- Experience in developing overseas markets, managing international distributors and key accounts, negotiating commercial contracts and achieving export sales targets.
- Prior experience in handling industrial customers across international markets and leading a sales team will be preferred.
