An SBI FOS (Feet-on-Street) Collection Executive is a field-based recovery and debt-collection role deployed through authorized partner agencies or service providers like SBOSS (State Bank Operation Support Services) rather than as a direct payroll employee of the State Bank of India
Key Responsibilities
- Field Visits: Travel to assigned customer or borrower locations to follow up on overdue loans, EMIs, and pending dues. [1, 2]
- Payment Recovery: Collect outstanding amounts or negotiate repayment options politely and in compliance with banking regulations. [1, 2]
- Customer Coordination: Resolve customer queries regarding payment schedules, account status, and EMI breakdowns. [1, 2]
