Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Design Engineer with experience in water and wastewater treatment systems and robust knowledge of AutoCAD.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings and supporting the design and execution of RO, UF, STP, ETP and other water treatment projects.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare 2D layouts, GA drawings and equipment layouts using AutoCAD.
- Prepare P&ID; drawings, piping layouts and installation drawings.
- Prepare equipment and piping arrangements based on project requirements.
- Review technical specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the project and engineering teams for design requirements.
- Modify drawings based on site conditions and client requirements.
- Prepare drawings for fabrication, installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment and technical details.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.
- RequirementsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical / Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in water treatment / wastewater treatment / industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience in preparing GA, P&ID;, piping and equipment layout drawings.
- Basic understanding of RO, UF, STP, ETP and water treatment equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Candidates with experience in water treatment plant design will be preferred.
