Experience: 8–15 years in furniture/woodworking manufacturing, with 3+ years managing a production floor

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on manufacturing experience and responsibility level

Reports to: Owner / Director

Role summary: Own end-to-end factory output for modular kitchens, wardrobes and office furniture — delivering every order on time, to specification and at controlled cost.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan and schedule daily and weekly production against confirmed orders and delivery dates.
2. Supervise cutting, edge banding, drilling/CNC, pressing, PU/lacquer finishing and assembly operations.
3. Lead supervisors, carpenters, machine operators and helpers; allocate manpower and track productivity.
4. Enforce quality checks at each stage; reduce rework, rejections and site complaints.
5. Plan material requirements (boards, laminates, edge bands, hardware)



with purchase; control wastage and stock.
6. Maintain machines through preventive maintenance; minimise breakdowns.
7. Ensure workplace safety, 5S and housekeeping standards.
8. Coordinate with sales, design and installation teams on order changes, dispatch and site issues.
9. Report output, delays, costs and wastage to management.

Requirements

- Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Robust knowledge of panel-furniture machinery (beam saw, edge bander, CNC, boring machines) and board materials.
- Experience with PU/acrylic finishes and modular hardware (hinges, channels, lift-ups, corner units) preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a team of 20+ workers and meet delivery timelines.
- Comfortable with Excel and production planning/ERP tools.
- Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi; working English.
