- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools
- Create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for recent and existing products
- Apply DFM, DFA, and DFMEA principles to ensure robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs
- Perform engineering calculations (strength, fits, tolerance stack-up) to validate design integrity
- Support prototype build, testing, and validation (DVP) activities
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve design and production issues
- Analyze and resolve customer complaints and field failures using root cause analysis
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and learnings
