Key Responsibilities

- Dent & Panel Repair: Remove dents, dings, and creases from metal and aluminum panels using hammers, dollies, slide hammers, and specialized pullers.
- Structural & Frame Work: Operate hydraulic pullers and frame-straightening benches to fix bent chassis and frame structures.
- Welding & Cutting: Cut away damaged sections and join current sheet metal or replacement panels using MIG, spot, or gas welding equipment.
- Panel Fitting & Alignment: Replace and align doors, hoods, fenders, and bumpers to ensure proper body gaps, lines, and smooth mechanical function.
- Surface Preparation: Apply body filler (putty), grind, and sand repaired areas so the surface is smooth and ready for the paint shop.
- Disassembly & Reassembly: Safely strip and reinstall interior trims, glass, lights, and wiring harnesses.
- Quality & Safety Checks: Inspect finished work against manufacturer guidelines and follow safety rules regarding personal protective equipment (PPE) and hazardous materials.
