We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage daily procurement, coordinate with suppliers, negotiate prices and ensure timely availability of products and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify suppliers and obtain quotations based on purchase requirements.
- Compare prices, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive rates.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain required stock.
- Verify received quantities and resolve shortages, damaged goods or quality issues.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice verification and vendor payments.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier details and procurement reports.
- Develop new suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Track market prices and identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs.
Required Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Understanding of purchase orders, invoices and inventory processes.
- Strong follow-up, coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or vendor coordination preferred.
- E-commerce, wholesale or retail purchasing experience is an advantage.
