Job Title: Warehouse / Godown In-Charge – Spinning Mill

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Warehouse/Godown In-Charge to manage the day-to-day warehouse operations of our spinning mill. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials, packing materials, spare parts, and finished goods while ensuring proper stock control and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily warehouse and godown operations efficiently.
- Receive, verify, and store incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records for raw materials, packing materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods.
- Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments based on authorized requests.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the purchase department about reorder requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, stacking, and storage of materials.
- Coordinate with the purchase, production, maintenance, accounts, and dispatch departments.
- Maintain inward and outward registers, goods receipt notes (GRN), material issue slips, delivery challans, and other warehouse documents.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cotton, yarn, and other materials to prevent damage, contamination, moisture exposure, and wastage.
- Monitor slow-moving,



non-moving, and obsolete inventory and report it to management.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper housekeeping in the warehouse.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
- Ensure materials are issued and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Supervise warehouse workers and helpers, if applicable.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Any Degree.
- Experience in warehouse or inventory management is preferred, especially in a textile mill or spinning mill.
- Knowledge of stock maintenance, inventory control, and warehouse documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and inventory management software or ERP.
- Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple warehouse activities.
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on stock accuracy.

Experience: 2–5 years preferred.

Job Type: Full time, Permanent.

Work Location: On-site at our spinning mill.

Preferred Industry Experience: Textile / Spinning Mill / Manufacturing.

Salary: As per experience and company norms.
