We are looking for a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Video Editor with professional video editing experience and strong practical knowledge of green mat (green screen) editing, motion graphics, visual effects, and AI-assisted video production.

The selected candidate will work closely with our videographers, content writers, anchors, and marketing team to produce high-quality content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, advertisements, interviews, documentaries, and other digital media platforms.

Job Summary The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage, creating engaging visual stories, enhancing video and audio quality, developing motion graphics, and delivering professional video content within project deadlines.

Practical knowledge of green mat (green screen) editing is compulsory for this position. Candidates must know how to remove green backgrounds and replace them with professional studio backgrounds, graphics, videos, or other suitable visuals.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit professional YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook videos, and promotional advertisements.
- Transform raw footage into engaging short-form and long-form video content.
- Edit interviews, documentaries, news coverage, event videos, and educational content.
- Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio enhancement, sound mixing, and noise reduction.
- Create cinematic transitions, motion graphics, animated titles, lower-thirds, and visual effects.
- Remove green mat backgrounds and replace them with suitable images, videos, graphics, or virtual studio environments.
- Ensure clean background removal with proper edge refinement, colour spill removal, and realistic subject integration.
- Work with green screen footage recorded by the company's videography team.
- Create professional news videos by placing anchors and presenters in virtual studio environments.
- Create AI-assisted videos using Google Flow, Veo, and other relevant AI video production tools.
- Integrate AI-generated visuals and video clips with real footage when required.
- Produce promotional videos, brand introductions, animated advertisements, and cinematic presentations.
- Add Tamil and English subtitles, captions, titles, and other on-screen text.
- Maintain consistency in branding, logos, typography, colours, and visual presentation.
- Coordinate with videographers, content writers, anchors, presenters, and marketing team members.
- Export videos in Full HD and 4K formats according to project requirements.
- Organize raw footage, project files, graphics, audio files, and completed video assets.




- Manage multiple editing assignments and deliver projects within agreed deadlines.

Required Technical Skills

Professional Video Editing Software

Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following tools:
- Adobe Premiere Pro

- DaVinci Resolve

- Adobe After Effects

- Final Cut Pro

- CapCut

- Google Flow and Veo
- Other AI-assisted video production tools

Essential Requirement: Strong proficiency in at least one professional video editing platform is essential. Practical green mat editing skills are mandatory. Green Mat / Green Screen Editing – Compulsory Skill

Candidates must have practical experience in green mat (green screen) editing. This is a mandatory requirement for the position.

Candidates should be able to:

- Remove green mat backgrounds from recorded video footage.
- Replace green backgrounds with professional news studios, virtual backgrounds, images, videos, and graphics.
- Use Ultra Key in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Work with Keylight and compositing techniques in Adobe After Effects.
- Perform chroma keying and compositing in DaVinci Resolve.
- Refine edges around hair, clothing, and other detailed areas.
- Remove unwanted green colour spill from subjects.
- Match lighting, colours, shadows, and perspective for realistic results.
- Place anchors and presenters naturally into virtual news studios.
- Create professional green screen videos for news, interviews, advertisements, and presentations.
- Ensure the final output looks clean, realistic, and professionally edited.

Candidates who do not have practical knowledge of green mat editing will not be suitable for this position. Motion Graphics and Visual Effects
- Create animated titles, lower-thirds, logos, and text graphics.
- Develop professional introductions, outros, and branded video elements.
- Use motion graphics and visual effects to improve video presentation.
- Create engaging promotional animations and social media graphics.
- Apply transitions and visual effects appropriately.

AI-Assisted Video Production
- Use Google Flow, Veo, and other relevant AI video generation tools.
- Generate suitable AI-assisted video clips and visual elements.
- Integrate AI-generated footage with existing video content.
- Use AI tools to improve creative workflows and production efficiency.
- Ensure AI-generated visuals are appropriate for the project's requirements.

Additional Creative Skills
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and scene transitions.
- Experience editing YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content.
- Knowledge of sound design, background music, and audio synchronisation.
- Ability to edit Tamil-language content and position subtitles accurately.
- Understanding of vertical 9:16 and horizontal 16:9 video formats.




- Knowledge of Full HD and 4K video production requirements.
- Robust attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to follow creative instructions and incorporate feedback.

Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film Editing, Animation, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant professional experience and a strong editing portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English are preferred.

Work Experience
- 1–3 years of practical experience in video editing or video production.
- Experience editing digital media content, advertisements, interviews, documentaries, or promotional videos is preferred.
- Practical green mat (green screen) editing experience is compulsory.
- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and AI-assisted video production is an advantage.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate their editing skills through previous work.
