Job Summary

Indian University Press is looking for a creative and skilled video editor & content creator with experience in the publishing industry, particularly in creating child-friendly and educational book content. The ideal candidate must have practical knowledge of AI tools and the ability to create engaging, colorful, and age-appropriate videos and digital content for children's books and educational publications.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and edit engaging videos, reels, shorts, and promotional content for children's books and educational publications.
- Develop child-friendly visual content featuring illustrations, animations, characters, and storytelling.
- Create promotional videos to showcase children's books, learning materials, and educational products.
- Use AI tools for video generation, animation, voiceovers, subtitles, background creation, and content enhancement.
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards suitable for children and young learners.
- Edit videos using music, sound effects, transitions, motion graphics, and age-appropriate visuals.
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with editorial, design, and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with the company's publishing standards.

Ensure visual quality, educational relevance, and timely delivery of all projects. Required Skills & Qualifications





- Prior experience in the publishing industry is required, preferably in children's books, educational books, or learning materials.
- Experience creating child-friendly content, educational videos, animated stories, or book promotional videos.
- Practical knowledge of AI tools is mandatory.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, Runway, and AI-based video creation tools.
- Understanding of children's visual preferences, storytelling, illustrations, and age-appropriate content.
- Knowledge of animation, motion graphics, sound design, and social media video formats.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with experience working with children's book publishers or educational content companies will be preferred.
- Should understand how to make educational content visually appealing, engaging, and child-friendly.
- Must be capable of using AI tools to enhance video production and creative workflows.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating children's book promotions, educational videos, animations, or similar projects is essential.
