Purpose & The Video Editor Intern will spearhead video post-production for QorAI's marketing, brand awareness, and educational initiatives. The role involves conceptualizing and editing high-retention short-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, producing dynamic product feature walkthroughs, integrating kinetic motion graphics, and refining sound design to elevate QorAI's visual storytelling across the up-to-date B2B AI software ecosystem.

Internship Nature

This is an unpaid internship. While there is no monetary compensation, the role offers intensive hands-on experience in high-impact B2B video editing, creative direction, portfolio-building projects, and structured mentorship in motion design and generative AI video production workflows.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Short-Form Video Production: Edit fast-paced, high-retention vertical videos (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn video posts) with compelling narrative hooks, seamless pacing, and visual transitions.

Product Demo & Explainer Editing: Transform software screen recordings and raw walkthroughs into polished, professional B2B video showcases highlighting key platform capabilities and perks.

3. Motion Graphics & Visual Typography: Design kinetic typography, animated title sequences, UI highlight callouts, lower thirds, and branded graphics to enhance overall viewer retention and engagement.

4. Dynamic Subtitling & Caption Styling: Create clean, engaging, styled on-screen subtitles and animated captions optimized for silent mobile viewing across LinkedIn feeds and professional social channels.

5. Audio Engineering & Sound Design: Clean voiceover tracks, remove background noise, balance audio levels, and integrate suitable background music and sound effects (SFX).

6. Thumbnail & Creative Asset Support: Assist in designing click-worthy video thumbnails, title cards, and promotional graphic banners aligned with QorAI brand guidelines.

7. Creative Trend Research: Research trending B2B and tech video formats, editing techniques, and visual hooks to continually improve audience engagement metrics.

8. AI-Powered Video Workflows: Explore and utilize AI video tools (auto-captioning, audio enhancement, AI avatars, b-roll generation) to accelerate editing turnarounds.

Job Specification

1.



Educational Qualification: Student or graduate in Film/Media Studies, Animation, Graphic Design, Mass Communication, or self-taught video editor.

2. Knowledge Requirements: Strong sense of video pacing, timing, visual storytelling, aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16), frame rates, codecs, color grading, and audio mixing.

3. Skill Requirements: Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut; familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop/Canva, and AI video tools.

4. Behavioral Competencies: Creative eye, attention to detail, receptiveness to creative direction and feedback, disciplined delivery speed, and high visual standards.

5. Special Requirements: Personal laptop capable of video rendering, stable internet connection, 60-day unpaid remote availability, and a show reel or editing samples.
