Fabric is an AI-powered hiring platform helping companies find, screen, and interview candidates faster. We work with companies like Meesho, CRED, and Kearney to make hiring more efficient. We're building a strong content engine around recruiting, AI, and the future of work. Video is going to be a big part of that.

About the Role

We're looking for a video content creator who understands what makes people stop scrolling. Someone who spends enough time on Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn to know what's trending, but also has the creative instinct to turn those trends into original content. You'll primarily create UGC-style videos for Fabric.

Think relatable skits, founder videos, candid office content, product storytelling, and videos inspired by internet trends. You'll own the entire process, from coming up with an idea to shooting, editing, and publishing the final video. We're looking for someone who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.

What You'll Do

● Create scroll-stopping videos: Come up with original ideas and write strong hooks that capture attention within the first 2–3 seconds.

● Own video production: Script, shoot, and edit short-form videos independently, using a phone or camera.

● Stay ahead of trends: Follow Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms closely. Spot emerging formats, memes, and trends that Fabric can participate in.

● Make relatable UGC content: Create skits, POV videos, reactions, interviews, and other creator-style content that feels native to social media.

● Turn people into content: Work with our founders and team to capture candid moments, funny conversations, and interesting stories from inside Fabric.

● Showcase the product creatively:



Find ways to demonstrate Fabric's products through entertaining videos rather than conventional product demos.

● Experiment constantly: Test different hooks, editing styles, and content formats. Learn from performance data and double down on what works.

What We're Looking For

● 1–3 years of experience creating short-form video content, either professionally or through your own social media accounts.

● A strong portfolio of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form videos you've personally created.

● Excellent understanding of hooks, storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.

● Ability to shoot positive-quality content independently, including framing, lighting, and audio.

● Proficiency with editing tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

● Strong awareness of social media trends, creator formats, and internet culture.

● Comfortable directing people on camera and ideally appearing in videos yourself.

● Ability to take ownership without needing detailed briefs for every video.

Bonus Points

● You've built your own Instagram or YouTube account and understand what it takes to grow an audience.

● You've created videos that have organically crossed 100K+ views.

● You have experience creating comedy, skits, or relatable workplace content.

● You know how to use motion graphics, captions, and sound design to improve retention.

● You've worked with a startup or B2B brand and made its content feel entertaining.
