US Business Tax Reviewer (1065/1120/1120-S) - Remote
Location- Remote (India)
Shift Timing- 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM IST
Experience Required: 3-4 Years
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced US Business Tax Reviewer with hands-on expertise in reviewing and filing business tax returns for US clients. The ideal candidate should have completed 3-4 tax seasons in a similar role and possess strong technical knowledge of US business taxation.
Candidates with prior experience working with a US CPA Firm will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and file US business tax returns including:
- Form 1065 (Partnership Returns)
- Form 1120 (Corporation Returns)
- Form 1120-S (S Corporation Returns)
- Perform detailed review of tax workpapers and supporting documentation before filing.
- Prepare and draft responses to IRS and State Tax Notices.
- Coordinate with tax authorities, including IRS and various State Departments, whenever required.
- Research and resolve tax-related queries and compliance issues.
- Prepare and file annual 1099 Forms for accounting and tax clients.
- Ensure timely completion of tax engagements while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client deadlines during peak tax seasons.
- Maintain updated knowledge of US federal and state tax regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant US Business Tax experience.
- Minimum 3-4 tax seasons experience reviewing business tax returns.
- Robust understanding of US business taxation and compliance requirements.
- Experience reviewing Form 1065, Form 1120, and Form 1120-S returns.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a US CPA Firm.
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, CA, or candidates pursuing professional certifications will be an advantage.
- Exposure to multi-state filings and tax notice resolution.
