Job Summary ITM Group of Institutions is looking for a Research Associate cum Mentor Mechatronics to support the development and execution of the Bachelors Program in Mechatronics. The role involves applied research, laboratory development, teaching assistance, technical mentoring, student counseling, and academic support.

The ideal candidate should have robust technical knowledge in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, and Smart Manufacturing with a passion for mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Academic Support

- Support laboratory setup and operations for Robotics, PLC, Embedded Systems, IoT, CNC, Automation, Digital Twin,



and Additive Manufacturing labs.
- Develop practical modules, lab manuals, experiments, and project-based learning activities.
- Assist faculty members in teaching Mechatronics-related subjects.
- Participate in applied research projects, publications, and innovation activities.
- Guide student projects, technical competitions, hackathons, and innovation clubs.

Student Mentoring & Counseling

- Mentor undergraduate students in technical projects and academic development.
- Conduct technical assessments and interactions during student admissions.
- Counsel prospective students regarding the Mechatronics program, career opportunities, and skill development.
- Support student onboarding and bridge learning programs.
