Role Description Trukky is looking for a target-oriented Transport Manager with strong industry connections and experience in road transportation. The role involves managing inbound freight enquiries, converting them into confirmed bookings, leveraging an established transporter network and ensuring reliable shipment execution.

The ideal candidate should combine sales ability, transport market knowledge, strong communication and technology adoption to drive business growth while maintaining Trukky's service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Inbound Sales & Conversion: Manage incoming freight enquiries, provide competitive quotations, follow up with customers and maximise booking conversions.
- Transporter Network: Leverage and expand an established network of transporters and fleet owners across Bengaluru and other South Indian markets.
- Shipment Execution: Coordinate vehicle placement, track shipment progress and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth execution.
- Service Delivery:



Meet customer commitments and consistently adhere to Trukky's Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Business Targets: Take ownership of booking, conversion and business performance targets.
- Customer & Partner Management: Build robust relationships with customers, transporters and internal teams through clear and timely communication.
- Technology Adoption: Comfortably use Trukky's digital platforms, logistics tools and reporting systems for quotations, bookings and shipment management.

Qualifications &

Skills

- 3–7 years of experience with a road transport or logistics company.
- Strong understanding of spot logistics, freight pricing and truck availability.
- A robust transporter network across Bengaluru and other South Indian cities.
- Good communication and sales skills, with basic working English and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and transporters.
- Proven ability to manage inbound enquiries, negotiate freight rates and convert leads into bookings.
- Target-oriented mindset with a strong focus on business results.
- Tech-friendly and comfortable using digital platforms, spreadsheets and logistics software.
- Strong follow-up, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to service quality, timely execution and SLA compliance.
