Area(s) of Responsibility

We are seeking a detail-oriented UFT Manual Tester with 6+ years of experience in software testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Create and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and UAT testing. Execute existing UFT automated test scripts and analyze results.

- Validate application behavior across various environments. Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Prepare test execution reports and provide status updates. Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.





Qualifications

- 3-4 years of experience in Manual Testing.

- Valuable understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and Defect Life Cycle.

- Experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT Testing.

- Hands-on experience in preparing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Data.

- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as:

- JIRA

- Azure DevOps

- ALM/Quality Center

- Experience executing UFT test suites and analyzing execution results.

- Good understanding of test management processes and documentation.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
