Shift Ahead is seeking a Tier III Engineer for an advanced technical role within the Client Services department. The engineer will resolve complex data, VoIP, and managed services issues, including escalated customer calls requiring in-depth technical expertise.
Key responsibilities include analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to repairs, installations, and connectivity. The role may involve remote troubleshooting of customer equipment as well as providing guidance and education to customers, with a robust focus on achieving first-call resolution whenever possible.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in reading and fully understanding SIP messaging and call PCAPs to diagnose and resolve VoIP-related issues effectively.
Key skills
Modems/Routers, PBX systems, Hosted/VoIP phones, etc
Troubleshooting of VOIP network from customer end points to SBCs and soft switches
Excellent English speaking and writing skills
