About the Role The India SEO team needs a technically-minded specialist to support CMS management, API integrations, data automation, and reporting — someone who can bridge SEO fundamentals with hands-on coding and workflow automation. This is not a leadership role; it's an execution-focused technical seat that reduces the team's dependency on manual reporting and repetitive technical tasks, working closely with the Organic Lead and the wider SEO and Content teams across all client accounts.

The ideal candidate has solid working knowledge of SEO and GEO principles, is comfortable writing Python and querying data, and has hands-on experience building automations in platforms like n8n.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress & CMS

- Manage Support WordPress theme, plugin, and custom build management across multiple client accounts, including basic troubleshooting and updates.
- Implement technical SEO fundamentals directly within the CMS — meta tags, canonicals, hreflang, and URL structures.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and overall site health across the client portfolio, flagging issues proactively.
- Support content and page data structuring to improve AI Overview and AI search citation eligibility.

API & Automation

- Build and maintain integrations across Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs APIs to centralise reporting data.
- Write and maintain Python scripts to automate repetitive reporting, audit, and data-cleaning tasks.
- Query and manage data in BigQuery,



building structured datasets to support team reporting and analysis.
- Build and maintain workflow automations in n8n (or similar platforms like Zapier) to remove manual steps from recurring reporting and audit processes.
- Build Looker Studio dashboards and templates that give the team self-serve, real-time visibility into account performance.
- Support basic AI agent workflows — connecting LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to internal tools for tasks such as content brief generation or audit summarisation, under guidance from senior team members.

Technical SEO Execution

- Identify redirects, crawlability issues, and indexation problems across client websites, and support remediation.
- Assist with implementing JSON-LD structured data across page templates to support rich results and AI search eligibility.
- Support page speed improvements through image compression, lazy loading, and basic CDN configuration.
- Run Screaming Frog audits and track fixes against agreed timelines.
- Work with the organic search team to translate technical findings into clear, actionable notes and reports.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, BSc, MCA, B.Tech, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing/SEO agency, IT, or data-focused environment (freshers with solid coding/automation project experience will also be considered).
- Working proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and basic data manipulation.
- Working knowledge of BigQuery or similar SQL-based data warehousing tools.
- Practical, hands-on experience with n8n (or similar no-code/low-code automation platforms such as Zapier) for building workflows.




- Good understanding of core SEO fundamentals — crawlability, indexation, on-page basics, and site structure.
- Good understanding of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and how structured data and content signals influence visibility in AI-driven search.
- Basic working knowledge of WordPress or another major CMS.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical outputs clearly to non-technical team members.
- Strong attention to detail, with a methodical approach to building and documenting repeatable processes.

Nice to Have

- Experience integrating third-party APIs (Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or similar) into reporting workflows.
- Exposure to JavaScript for lightweight scripting or automation tasks.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or Google Apps Script for dashboard building.
- Experience building or configuring AI agents (using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) for content briefing, audit summarisation, or workflow automation.
- Understanding of AEO and AIO principles alongside GEO.
- Awareness of Core Web Vitals and technical page speed optimisation techniques.
