Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Marketing Engineer to promote and sell electrical panels, develop current business opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and achieve sales targets. The candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical panel manufacturing, industrial electrical systems, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development

- Identify and develop new customers, contractors, OEMs, EPC companies, consultants, and industrial clients.
- Generate business opportunities for LT panels, PCC panels, MCC panels, APFC panels, PLC panels, VFD panels, and control panels.
- Visit customer sites, industries, factories, and project locations to generate enquiries.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop new markets and maintain a strong customer network.

1. Technical Marketing

- Understand customer technical specifications, electrical drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with the design and estimation teams to prepare technical and commercial quotations.
- Explain product features, specifications, and solutions to customers.
- Coordinate with customers regarding panel design, components, ratings, and project requirements.
- Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales activities.

1. Enquiry & Order Management

- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the estimation, design, production, and dispatch departments.
- Track order status and communicate delivery schedules to customers.
- Ensure customer requirements are properly communicated to the internal teams.

Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on pending enquiries.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Maintain customer databases, sales reports, and enquiry records.

1. Market Research & Reporting

- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
- Identify potential projects and business opportunities.
- Prepare daily visit reports, weekly sales reports, and monthly sales forecasts.
- Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, order conversion, and customer follow-ups.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical control panels and industrial electrical equipment.
- Understanding of LT panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, and distribution panels.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components such as ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, meters, and busbars.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, email, and CRM/ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in electrical panel manufacturing, switchgear, industrial automation, or electrical contracting.
- Familiarity with consultants, EPC contractors, industrial customers, and panel-building projects.
- Knowledge of tendering, quotation preparation, and commercial negotiations.
