Premium Fine-Dining Restaurant | 180-Seater Restaurant

We are looking for skilled and passionate Sushi Chefs / Dim Sum Chefs to join our culinary team at our premium 180-seater fine-dining restaurant.

We are seeking culinary professionals with expertise in Japanese or Chinese cuisine, a passion for authentic flavours, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese specialties, or dim sum, dumplings, baos, and related Asian delicacies.
- Ensure excellent food quality, consistency, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain proper mise en place and ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor stock, ensure proper storage, and minimize food wastage.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Assist with menu development, new dishes, and seasonal specials.

Candidate Requirements




- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Dim Sum Chef in a reputed hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or premium Asian restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of the relevant cuisine and preparation techniques.
- Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety, ingredient handling, and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Strong teamwork, discipline, and a professional attitude.
