Role Summary

We are looking for qualified, knowledgeable, and student-focused Subject Faculty to teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics to students following the IBDP and IGCSE international curricula at our coaching institute's Juhu, Goregaon, and JVLR branches in Mumbai.

The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality subject instruction, explaining complex concepts, developing students' analytical and problem-solving abilities, and preparing them for curriculum-specific assessments and examinations.

Candidates must have a strong command of their respective subjects and prior experience teaching relevant international curricula. Experience with IBDP or IGCSE students will be highly preferred.

These are contractual positions. Candidates should be comfortable working on a contract basis and meeting the academic and teaching commitments agreed upon with the institute.

Subjects & Academic Requirements

Faculty members are required for the following subjects:

- Physics: Robust conceptual understanding, numerical problem-solving, practical applications, and curriculum-aligned examination preparation.
- Chemistry: Clear understanding of theoretical concepts, chemical equations, calculations, and relevant practical applications.
- Biology: Strong subject knowledge covering biological concepts, systems, processes, and curriculum-specific assessment requirements.
- Mathematics: Expertise in mathematical concepts, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and curriculum-specific examination preparation.

Candidates should apply for the subject in which they possess the relevant academic qualifications,



subject expertise, and teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and structured classes for students following the IBDP and/or IGCSE curriculum.
- Explain subject concepts clearly, adapting teaching methods to students' learning levels and academic requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, practice questions, assignments, worksheets, and revision materials aligned with the relevant curriculum.
- Help students strengthen conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, numerical ability, and subject-specific problem-solving skills.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, school examinations, and IBDP/IGCSE examinations, as applicable.
- Identify students' learning gaps and provide individual attention, remedial instruction, and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Use appropriate teaching methodologies, examples, and practical applications to improve student engagement and understanding.
- Track student progress through regular assessments, assignments, and performance reviews.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate academic progress to the concerned team or parents, wherever required.
- Stay updated with the relevant curriculum, subject requirements, examination formats, and assessment expectations.
- Coordinate with the academic team to ensure consistent teaching standards and timely completion of the syllabus.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and commitment to the agreed teaching schedule and contractual responsibilities.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

- A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in the respective subject is required; a postgraduate qualification will be preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics.




- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly to students.
- Experience teaching the IBDP and/or IGCSE curriculum will be highly preferred.
- Familiarity with international curriculum requirements, assessment patterns, and examination preparation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and student-engagement skills.
- Ability to plan lessons, assess student performance, and provide targeted academic support.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with prior experience in international schools, international-curriculum coaching institutes, or specialised subject tutoring will be preferred.
- Experience teaching the specific subject at the relevant IBDP/IGCSE level is desirable.
- Ability to teach challenging concepts using structured explanations and practical examples.
- Student-oriented approach with a focus on conceptual clarity and academic improvement.
- Professional, punctual, and organised, with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with contractual employment and the agreed teaching schedule.
- Willingness to work at the applicable Juhu, Goregaon, or JVLR branch in Mumbai.

Compensation & Employment Terms

- Salary: ₹40,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on qualifications, subject expertise, teaching experience, and overall suitability.
