Overseas Education Lane (OEL) is an international education consultancy helping Indian students explore global study opportunities through university admissions, scholarship guidance, visa assistance, and pre-departure support. We work with international university partners to help students make informed decisions about their overseas education.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students through the overseas education journey, from initial counselling and university selection to application processing and admission follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding study-abroad opportunities, courses, universities, scholarships, and admission requirements.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, budgets, and preferences to recommend suitable study destinations and programs.
- Provide guidance on university applications, admission requirements, documentation, and application deadlines.
- Assist students with scholarship opportunities, visa documentation, and pre-departure formalities.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate student records, counselling notes,



and follow-up updates in the CRM or internal systems.
- Coordinate with the admissions and processing teams to ensure smooth application handling.
- Support student conversion and contribute to the team's enrolment targets.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good counselling, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and online communication tools.
- Willingness to learn about international university admissions and visa processes.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a student-first approach.

Freshers are welcome! Candidates with relevant experience in study-abroad counselling, sales, customer service, or education consulting will have an added advantage. Salary & Benefits
- Salary: fixed per month, depending on skills and suitability.

Working Schedule
- Monday to Saturday
- Sundays and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off
