- : STRUCTURES AMERICAN INNOVATIONS ENGINEERING PVT. LTD. (SAI) is looking for an experienced and technically robust Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team in India.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and hands-on experience in the analysis and design of steel, masonry, light-gauge steel, wood, tilt-up concrete panels, and reinforced concrete structures. Experience working on projects designed in accordance with American building codes and standards is required.

We are looking for a professional who can independently handle structural design assignments, perform engineering calculations, review drawings, and coordinate effectively with engineers, architects, and drafting teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform structural analysis and design of conventional steel buildings, light-gauge steel buildings, wood buildings, masonry structures and reinforced concrete structures.
- Design structural systems and elements including beams, columns, trusses, deck slabs, retaining walls, and foundations.
- Apply American building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
- Perform gravity, wind, seismic, and snow load calculations, as applicable.
- Design and evaluate steel connections, framing systems, and foundation systems.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and construction drawings.
- Review structural shop drawings and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Coordinate with architects, engineers,



and drafting teams to resolve design and detailing issues.
- Ensure structural designs meet applicable code requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Independently manage assigned projects and deliver quality engineering work within established schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Should hold Bachelors degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from reputed institutions such as IITs, NITs, and other recognized State Institutions in Civil/Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Proven experience in structural analysis & design of RCC & Steel Structures (Steel Structures is preferred)
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (Ram Steel, Tekla Tedds, STAAD Pro, Forteweb, Digital Canal-Versa Frame, REVIT Structures, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of construction materials, load calculations, connection designs and structural detailing.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in seismic loads, wind loads and snow load analysis.
- Knowledge of steel structure design and fabrication processes.
- Coordination with other engineers and drafters in both offices and Architects.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software, such as:

- RAM Structural System / RAM Steel - Revit Structure/BIM

- Tekla Tedds

- AutoCAD.
