Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

- Welcome customers and assist them with menu information and product recommendations.
- Take customer orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously.
- Handle customer queries and complaints politely and report issues to the manager.
- Ensure a pleasant dining experience for all customers.

2. Food and Beverage Preparation

- Assist in preparing basic food items, beverages, and other café products as per company standards.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure ingredients and supplies are properly stored and handled.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the food preparation and service areas.

3. Order Taking and Billing

- Enter customer orders accurately into the system.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and beverage preparation team to ensure timely order completion.
- Assist with billing, cash handling, and payment collection when assigned.
- Ensure all orders are served correctly and verify them before handing them over to customers.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance

- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, counters, floors, and customer service areas.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly.
- Clear used plates, glasses,



and cutlery and ensure tables are ready for the next customers.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures and maintain a hygienic environment.

5. Stock and Inventory Support

- Assist in checking stock levels of food items, beverages, packaging materials, and other supplies.
- Refill display counters, service stations, and other designated areas as required.
- Inform the supervisor about low stock, damaged products, or wastage.
- Follow the company's stock handling and storage procedures.

6. Teamwork and Daily Operations

- Coordinate with kitchen staff, baristas, stewards, cashiers, and other crew members.
- Assist in opening and closing activities, including workstation setup and cleaning.
- Follow duty rosters, standard operating procedures, and instructions given by the manager.
- Support other areas of café operations as required during busy periods.

7. Food Safety and Hygiene

- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the prescribed uniform.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Handle food and beverages safely to prevent contamination.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety procedures.
