The Bid Manager will own the end-to-end bid process for UK opportunities, from identifying and qualifying tenders on e-tendering portals through to writing, coordinating and submitting compliant, high-quality responses. The role uses Loopio to manage the content library and speed up responses, and works closely with sales, technical, finance and leadership teams to deliver winning bids on time.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Bid Management

- Own the full bid lifecycle: chance identification, bid/no-bid qualification, planning, writing, review, submission and post-bid debrief.
- Build bid plans and timelines, assign responsibilities and run kick-off, review and sign-off meetings.
- Track every deadline, clarification window and submission requirement so that no bid is late or non-compliant.
- Manage several live bids in parallel and prioritise based on value and win probability.

E-Tendering and Opportunity Management

- Monitor UK e-tendering portals and procurement platforms (such as Find a Tender, Contracts Finder and buyer-specific portals) for relevant opportunities.
- Register on portals, download tender documents, raise clarification questions and submit responses within the portal.
- Review tender documents (ITT, PQQ/SQ, RFP, RFI) and prepare compliance matrices against all requirements.
- Keep track of frameworks, renewals and upcoming re-tenders in a bid pipeline.

Bid Writing

- Write clear, persuasive and compliant responses to quality and method statement questions.
- Tailor responses to UK buyer evaluation criteria, including social value, sustainability and quality scoring.
- Edit and quality-check contributions from subject matter experts for tone, consistency and word or page limits.
- Develop executive summaries, win themes and case studies.

Loopio and Content Management





- Use Loopio to manage the bid content library and speed up RFP and questionnaire responses.
- Keep library content accurate, current and approved, including policies, certifications, case studies and standard answers.
- Assign questions to subject matter experts within Loopio and track their progress.

Stakeholder Coordination and Continuous Improvement

- Coordinate inputs from sales, technical, finance, legal and leadership teams.
- Work with finance on pricing submissions and with leadership on bid approval.
- Gather buyer feedback after each outcome and use it to improve future bids.
- Report on bid pipeline, submissions and win rates to management.

Requirements

Experience

- Proven experience managing bids end to end, from qualification to submission.
- Hands-on experience with UK tenders and UK procurement processes, including public sector frameworks.
- Practical experience using Loopio for content management and RFP responses.
- Experience working on e-tendering portals, including registration, clarifications and submissions.
- A track record of writing high-scoring quality responses.

Technical Skills

- Loopio (essential); familiarity with other bid tools is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of UK tender documents such as SQ, ITT, RFP and RFI.
- Understanding of UK evaluation criteria, including social value and quality/price weighting.
- Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint for formatting, compliance matrices and bid trackers.

- Confidence in coordinating senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
