Key Skills Required Python | SQL | Machine Learning | ML Modelling | Hadoop | Hive | HUE | Advanced Analytics | Predictive Modelling

Knowledge of NLP, Generative AI (GenAI), LLMs and production-grade ML models will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Apply advanced statistical analysis, predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems in the healthcare and pharmaceutical domains.
- Develop, validate and implement production-grade machine learning models to identify patterns, predict outcomes and generate actionable business insights.
- Use Python and SQL extensively for data processing, extraction, transformation, aggregation, statistical analysis and visualization.
- Work with large datasets using Hadoop, Hive and HUE, including querying, storing and retrieving data as required.
- Explore and analyse pharmaceutical datasets, identify trends and influencing factors, and prepare high-quality analytical reports and management consulting presentations.




- Develop charts, graphs, tables and visual summaries to communicate analytical findings and business recommendations effectively.
- Prepare analysis plans in collaboration with team leads and project teams, ensuring appropriate methodologies and timely project execution.
- Explain complex statistical concepts and technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and translate insights into practical business solutions.
- Guide team members in adopting advanced data science technologies, analytical methodologies and automation techniques to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and consistency across all analytical deliverables.
- For managerial roles, plan and allocate work, coordinate team activities, monitor progress, review deliverables and ensure timely completion.
- Develop, update and implement standard operating procedures for data analysis, quality control and consistent project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Full-time degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) or a relevant discipline. An MBA in Marketing, Operations Research, Data Science or Business Analytics will be an advantage.




- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics using Python and SQL.
- Strong practical experience in statistical analysis, quantitative modelling, predictive analytics and machine learning.
- Experience in developing and evaluating ML models; practical exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLMs and Generative AI is desirable.
- Working knowledge of solution design, analytical planning, execution and business problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred.
- People management, team coordination and client-facing experience are desirable, particularly for managerial positions.

- Programming & Analytics: Base SAS, Advanced SAS, Python scripting and VBA Macros.
- Data Platforms & ML Tools: Snowflake, Dataiku and Azure ML Studio.
- Visualization & Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, think-cell and Qlik Sense.
