Position: Assistant Chef – South Indian Cuisine & Breakfast

Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Uttapam, Upma and Pongal.
- Prepare Sambar, Chutneys and other South Indian accompaniments.
- Handle breakfast preparation and timely food service.
- Maintain consistency in food taste, quality and presentation.
- Manage ingredients, food preparation and kitchen stock.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Follow food safety guidelines and coordinate with the kitchen team.

Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as an Assistant Chef,



Commis Chef or South Indian Cook.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, especially breakfast items.
- Experience in preparing different varieties of Dosa, Idli, Vada and Chutneys.
- Ability to manage breakfast service efficiently.
- Good teamwork and time management skills.
- Experience working in hotels, restaurants or resorts preferred.
