Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Sourcing Component (Metal and Non-Metal) professional with approximately 8 years of experience.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with Indian and international suppliers.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
- Work on sustainable sourcing initiatives and supplier diversification
- Solid understanding of Ferrous and non ferrous, metals and non metals like Steel, Copper, Aluminum, Zinc, and raw materials and value-added products.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to assess quality, specifications, and applications.




- Work closely with logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth development and transaction.
- Handle purchase contracts, spot buying, and long-term agreements.
- Need to be able to do zero based costing, inline to industry benchmarks
- Need to be well versed with various costing analytics
- Ensure procurement strategies align with market conditions and company objectives.
- Optimize payment terms, credit limits, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong Procurement skills, including component sourcing, supplier management, RFQ handling, and cost analysis for metal and non-metal parts.
- 8 to12 yrs of experience in procurement, sourcing or SCM
- Expertise in handling international suppliers
- Open to domestic & international travel as required
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and applications
