Role Description This is a full time, on-site Solidworks Application Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The role involves providing technical support and guidance to customers on Solidworks and related solutions, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

The Solidworks Application

Engineer will conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for clients and internal teams, and assist in pre-sales and post-sales activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and validating CAD models, supporting integration with CAM and CAE tools,



collaborating with engineering and sales teams on customer projects, and documenting best practices and technical solutions. The role also requires staying current with new features, updates, and industry trends to ensure clients receive accurate and up-to-date recommendations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering skills, including 3D CAD modeling, design validation, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess relevant Technical Support experience, including troubleshooting, customer communication, and issue resolution for engineering software.
- Hands-on experience with Solidworks (preferably 3DEXPERIENCE Solidworks) and familiarity with CAM/CAE tools such as Mastercam or similar software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer-facing engineering roles, solution consulting, or application engineering is an advantage.
