Role: Guidewire QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Guidewire QA professionals with strong expertise in testing Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, specifically PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC). The ideal candidates should have experience in functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing within the Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of Guidewire applications.
- Work on Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), or ClaimCenter (CC) based on project requirements.
- Validate business workflows, configurations, and application functionality.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Identify, report, track, and retest defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, automation engineers, and other QA team members.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test execution, and defect triage meetings.
- Validate integrations, APIs, and data flows between Guidewire and external systems, where applicable.




- Support regression testing and release validation activities.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives, wherever applicable.

Required Skills
- 4–12 years of experience in software testing, with relevant Guidewire QA experience.
- Hands-on experience in at least one Guidewire InsuranceSuite application:

- PolicyCenter (PC)

- BillingCenter (BC)

- ClaimCenter (CC)
- Valuable understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain.
- Strong knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience in test case design, test execution, defect management, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Guidewire automation testing using Selenium, Java, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
- Experience with Guidewire configuration, workflows, and web services.
- Guidewire certification is an added advantage.
