About us: Ravindra Memorial Trust is a Project Implementing Agency running SkillBridge, a skilling and placement project under DDU-GKY 2.0 (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana), a Government of India scheme that trains rural youth for jobs. We are setting up our training centre at Savoi Verem, Ponda, Goa and are building our team.
Job Summary: You will help trainees build communication and workplace skills, and guide them and their families through their training journey at our Savoi-Verem, Goa centre.
Responsibilities
- Conduct soft skills, communication and employability training sessions
- Counsel candidates and their parents on training, careers and job opportunities
- Keep candidates motivated and reduce dropouts
- Conduct mock interviews and grooming sessions
- Support the placement process and follow up with placed candidates
- Maintain counselling and session records
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (psychology, social work or education preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in training, counselling or HR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and an interest in working with rural youth
