Role Description The Side Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Duddhi. This position is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that site operations follow approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.

The Side

Engineer coordinates with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to manage materials, resolve on-site issues, and maintain accurate records of work completed. The role includes regular site inspections, quality checks, measurement and documentation of work, and reporting on project status and resource needs.

Engineer also supports compliance with local regulations and company policies while helping to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications





- Strong knowledge of civil engineering or construction practices, including site supervision, quality control, and basic structural principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications, and translate them into practical on-site actions.
- Proficiency in maintaining site documentation, such as daily logs, measurement books, material records, and progress reports.
- Understanding of construction safety standards and regulations, with the ability to enforce safe working practices on-site.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with project managers, contractors, workers, and local stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities for handling on-site issues and unexpected challenges.
- Basic computer skills for using spreadsheets, email, and project-related software or tools.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in site engineering.
- Prior experience in site supervision or field engineering in construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Duddhi and adapt to varying project conditions.
