Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in the Pune Division.

The Service

Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of industrial centrifuges and related equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, executing repairs, and providing technical support to ensure optimal machine performance and minimal downtime. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing service reports, coordinating spare parts requirements, and supporting refurbishment activities.

Engineer will also collaborate with internal engineering and sales teams, maintain safety and quality standards, and communicate clearly with customers during field service visits.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues on industrial centrifuges and separation equipment.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing service activities in industrial environments.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact with customers, prepare service documentation, and coordinate with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to guide customers on equipment operation, performance optimization, and basic issue resolution.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for rotating machinery, including routine inspections, overhauls, alignment, and replacement of critical components.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery, preferably centrifuges, pumps, or process equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; basic computer literacy for reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to travel within the region for site visits and work in industrial plant conditions while following safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and capability to work independently or in small teams.
