Role : Service Advisor

Educational Qualification :

3-year Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering

Experience :

3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial vehicle service Job Purpose To act as the primary point of contact for customers, understand service requirements, coordinate workshop execution and ensure a transparent, timely and satisfactory service experience.

Key Responsibilities

 Receive customers and drivers, record complaints accurately, and prepare job cards with transparent customer concerns and vehicle details.

 Conduct or coordinate preliminary vehicle inspections and explain required repairs, maintenance work, estimates and timelines to customers.

 Coordinate with floor supervisors, technicians, parts and warranty teams to ensure work progresses as planned.

 Keep customers informed about diagnosis, additional work, delays, delivery commitments and repair status.

 Obtain customer approval for additional work and ensure approvals are documented before execution.

 Review completed job cards, repair details and invoices for accuracy before vehicle delivery.

 Explain work performed, replaced parts, maintenance recommendations and future service needs at handover.





 Handle customer concerns professionally and support complaint resolution and service follow-up.

 Maintain service records, customer feedback, pending vehicle updates and relevant service reports.

 Work towards customer satisfaction, labour sales, productivity, turnaround-time and repeat-service targets.

 Computer literacy and accurate record keeping
