Most editors cut footage. We’re looking for one who makes people stop scrolling.

You know the moment. A reel catches your thumb mid-scroll, and before you know it, you’ve watched it twice. You noticed the hook, the cut on the beat, the title that moved in at exactly the right frame.

If you study reels while everyone else just watches them, this role was built for you.

About us

We are a short-form video and motion design studio. We turn business owners and professionals into the names people know and trust, through Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook, in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

We’re at the beginning of something ambitious, and we’re building a small team of exceptional people to lead it. You’ll be our first senior editor, so the style you create becomes our style.

The role

This is a pure editing and motion role. You won’t write scripts or manage clients. You’ll spend your time on what you do best: shaping raw footage into short-form videos with polished motion graphics, edits people want to watch to the end, and a finish that feels premium.

What you’ll do

- Edit high-retention vertical videos (15 to 60 seconds) from raw phone and camera footage.
- Build scroll-stopping hooks in the first two seconds of every video.
- Turn long, unscripted takes into tight, compelling stories with rhythm and pace.
- Design and animate motion graphics: kinetic typography, animated titles, lower thirds, logo reveals, transitions and on-screen graphics.
- Create AI-assisted visuals and B-roll in Higgsfield, and blend them seamlessly into live footage.
- Develop a signature editing and motion style for each client, consistent across every video.
- Add accurate,

beautifully timed captions in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
- Choose music and sound design that hold attention, cut on the beat.
- Deliver polished edits within 48 hours, and take on feedback with professionalism.
- Study top creators and new techniques every week, and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Workload: about 10 to 15 videos a week to start, growing as the team grows.

What makes you exceptional

- 3 or more years of professional short-form editing, with a portfolio of modern, high-retention work
- Expertise in After Effects for motion graphics, plus Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for editing
- Hands-on experience with Higgsfield or similar AI video tools, or a solid drive to master them quickly
- A strong sense of typography, timing and visual rhythm
- Good command of Punjabi and Hindi, for accurate captions and cuts
- An obsessive eye for detail: no typos, no awkward cuts, no sound glitches
- Speed without compromise: you deliver volume without sacrificing quality
- Self-discipline: excellent work without anyone looking over your shoulder
- Clear communication
- Your own reliable workstation and stable internet

Strong advantages

- AI video, motion design or animated brand work in your portfolio
- Colour grading, including log footage from professional cameras
- Audio cleanup and sound design
- Experience creating for Punjabi- or Hindi-speaking audiences

What you’ll get

- Market-competitive salary:

₹30,000 to ₹40,000 a month. Exceptional editors start at the top of the range.
- Quality Bonus: monthly rewards when your work delivers real results. When your videos perform, you earn more.
- Commitment Bonus: a loyalty reward that grows the longer you’re with us.
- A founding role: you’ll be the first senior editor, with a clear path to Lead Editor and to leading your own team of editors.
- Creative ownership: your motion style shapes how our clients look and feel.
- Cutting-edge AI: work daily in Higgsfield and other leading AI tools, building skills years ahead of the market.
- International work: create for clients in the United States and Canada, and build a portfolio few editors in India can match.
- Flexibility now, a studio later: work remotely today, with a seat in our Mohali studio as we grow.

Hiring process

- Apply with your portfolio.
- Portfolio review: every portfolio is reviewed personally by our founder.
- Paid practical test: shortlisted candidates complete a real edit with motion graphics, and we pay for your time.
- Zoom interview: your work, your ideas and your goals.
- Written offer: salary, bonus details and start date.
