Job Summary:

- We are seeking experienced

Senior Backend Engineers (Golang/Node.js)

with

8–12 years of backend development experience to design, develop, and operate scalable, event-driven microservices.

Immediate to 7 days from the date of the offer

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements into clear specifications, API contracts, and implementation plans before coding.

- Design and build Go or Node.js microservices using REST, gRPC, and Kafka-based event-driven flows.

- Own non-functional requirements, including performance, reliability, observability, and security.

- Critically review AI-generated code and specifications and write tests that validate implementation against the specification.

- Mentor junior developers and improve engineering quality through code reviews.

- Take features from specification to production with minimal supervision

Required Technical Skills:





- 8+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years of production experience in Go or

Node.js, with working proficiency in the other.

- Strong knowledge of concurrency, asynchronous programming, and error handling in the primary language.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging systems, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker/Kubernetes or OpenShift.

- Experience operating production services, including incident debugging, performance tuning, and monitoring.

- Experience writing design documents, RFCs, or technical specifications before implementation.

- Ability to critically review and correct AI-generated code.

- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly.

- Strong written communication skills.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.

- OAuth2/Keycloak experience.

- Experience with AI coding tools such as Copilot or Claude, or with spec/design-doc-driven workflows.
