Job Summary

Indian University Press is looking for a creative and result-oriented social media manager to manage and grow our digital presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate must have practical knowledge of AI tools, content creation, digital marketing trends, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, create, and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging social media posts, reels, stories, videos, captions, and promotional creatives.
- Plan and manage the social media content calendar and ensure timely posting.
- Use AI tools to generate content ideas, write captions, create visuals, and edit videos.
- Monitor social media performance, analyze insights, and prepare regular reports.
- Develop strategies to increase followers, engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Coordinate with editorial, design, and marketing teams for promotional campaigns.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and digital marketing practices.




- Maintain consistent branding across all social media platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in social media management and digital marketing is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of AI tools is mandatory.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, and AI-based image and video creation tools.
- Strong content writing, communication, creativity, and planning skills.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with experience in publishing, education, or the book industry will be preferred.
- Must be creative, proactive, and familiar with current social media trends.
- Should be capable of independently managing content planning, creation, posting, and performance analysis.
