Position: Sr Purchase Executive

Job Summary

Garden Genie is looking for a proactive and result-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vendor sourcing, price negotiation, packaging material procurement, logistics coordination, and maintaining smooth material availability for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Source new vendors and obtain quotations for raw materials, packaging materials, and other procurement requirements.
- Compare quotations, negotiate prices, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Identify and develop reliable vendors through IndiaMART, online platforms, and market visits.
- Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with transporters and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials to the factory.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding dispatch schedules, pending orders, and material availability.
- Visit vendor locations and transport offices whenever required.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, stores, and production teams for inward planning and material receipt.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database, quotations, and procurement documentation.




- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely purchases to avoid production delays.
- Develop alternate vendors to ensure uninterrupted material supply and cost optimization.

Required Skills

- Strong vendor sourcing and vendor development skills.
- Excellent price negotiation and commercial negotiation abilities.
- Experience in sourcing packaging materials such as cartons, bottles, labels, pouches, caps, etc.
- Good understanding of Purchase Orders (PO), GRN, quotations, and procurement documentation.
- Experience in coordinating logistics and transporters.
- Working knowledge of IndiaMART or similar sourcing platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP/Tally will be an added advantage.
- Robust communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.

Eligibility

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase or Procurement.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing packaging materials is mandatory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
