Role Description The QA and Automation Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of PreVeil’s products through systematic testing and automation.

Day-to-day tasks include designing and maintaining test plans, creating and executing manual and automated test cases, and validating new features and bug fixes across various release. This role also involves monitoring test results, documenting issues clearly, and participating in release readiness activities to help deliver secure, high-quality software.

Qualifications





- Strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, including understanding of test methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience designing and executing Test Cases and performing thorough Manual Testing.
- Hands-on expertise in QA Automation, including building, maintaining, and optimizing automated test suites.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Python, or Java) is mandatory
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build and deployment processes will be a plus
- Experience testing security-focused or cloud-based applications or storage systems or enterprise systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to document and communicate defects clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid , cooperative environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Should be based in Bangalore
- Experience - 7 to 25 years of individual contributor or architecture experience ( no managers, no freshers please)
