- SQL:

Advanced queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.

- Data Modeling:

Star schema, snowflake schema, relationships, and dimensional modeling.

- Power BI Service:

Workspace management, deployment, gateways, scheduled refresh, and security.

- Data Warehousing:

ETL/ELT concepts, data integration, and warehouse design.

- Performance Optimization:

DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer, and VertiPaq Analyzer.

- Microsoft Ecosystem:

Excel, SharePoint, Azure SQL, and related Microsoft technologies.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Direct Lake.

- Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Databricks or other cloud-based data platforms.

- Power BI REST APIs and automation using PowerShell.

- Python for data analysis and automation.

- CI/CD, version control, and deployment automation.





- Experience with enterprise BI governance and large-scale reporting environments.

- Power BI certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

Experience and Qualifications

- 10–12 years of overall experience in BI, analytics, reporting, or data engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development and enterprise reporting.

- Proven experience delivering complex dashboards and reporting solutions end to end.

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical specifications.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work independently and guide a team of developers.

Key Evaluation Criteria

- Advanced DAX and SQL expertise.

- Robust data modeling and dashboard design capabilities.

- Experience optimizing large datasets and complex reports.

- Hands-on Power BI Service administration and deployment.

- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.
