We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with strong hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining production backend applications using PHP and CodeIgniter. Candidates must have excellent coding, database optimization, caching, concurrency handling, and client communication skills.

Mandatory Skills:

- Solid PHP and OOP concepts, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Deep understanding of CodeIgniter, MVC architecture, REST API development, and service-layer design.
- Strong MySQL skills: schema design, normalization, complex queries, joins, aggregation, indexing, and query optimization using EXPLAIN. Hands-on Redis experience with caching, cache invalidation, sessions, queues, workers, retries, and multiple Redis connections/databases.
- Strong understanding of transactions, ACID properties, row-level locking, and concurrency-safe inventory/stock updates.




- Experience with third-party API and payment gateway integrations, idempotent webhooks, retries, timeouts, and failure recovery. Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF prevention.
- Experience with CI/CD, database migrations, rollback strategies, and production troubleshooting.

Good to Have:

- CodeIgniter 4 and migration from CodeIgniter 3.
- AWS S3, Docker, Laravel, and PHPUnit.
- E-commerce, inventory management, or payment-heavy application experience.

Additional Requirements:

- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to write and explain code and SQL independently during technical interviews.
- Strong production ownership, troubleshooting, and mentoring capabilities.
