1. Job Summary

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to join our Fund Accounting Services team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and reviewing fund accounting operations for our clients. The role involves investment accounting, portfolio valuation, NAV computation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and client coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting services, maintaining high-quality service standards, and supporting the continuous improvement of operational processes.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Validate and Verify

Day-to-day fund accounting activities for multiple client portfolios and schemes. ( investment transactions involving equity shares, debt instruments, mutual funds, fixed deposits, F&O; and other financial instruments) Purchases, sales, corporate actions, dividends, interest income, and other investment-related transactions.

Statement of Realised and unrealised gains or losses.

- Account for investor contributions, drawdowns, allotments, distributions, and redemptions, as applicable.
- Record fund expenses, income accruals, management fees, and other scheme-level transactions.
- Prepare investor statements and fund-level financial reports.
- Perform daily portfolio valuation and record accrued income, expenses,



and other adjustments.
- Calculate management fees, performance fees, operating expenses, and other applicable charges.
- Maintain accurate fund-wise, scheme-wise, and client-wise accounting records.
- Prepare and review NAV calculations and portfolio valuation statements, as applicable to client mandates.
- Perform bank, broker, and custodian reconciliations.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, trial balances, general ledgers, and management reports.
- Coordinate with clients, fund managers, operations teams, custodians, brokers, and auditors for accounting-related matters.
- Respond to client queries and resolve accounting discrepancies within agreed timelines.
- Guide and train junior accountants on fund accounting processes and reporting requirements.
- Support implementation and testing of fund accounting software, automation tools, and reporting templates.

1. Educational Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 23 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, investment accounting

1. Key Skills & Competencies

- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Positive knowledge of investment instruments (equity, debt, units, f&o; etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting tools
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external teams.
