MGS is a leading consulting company dedicated to improving client experience and ROI with SAP applications. We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition FICO Consultant to join our team.

About the Role:

Experienced consultant specialising in Accounts Payable, Banking and Cash Management, with hands-on expertise in Banking and Bank Integration with SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) and SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), plus data migration skills using the SAP Migration Cockpit. Works with global finance and treasury stakeholders in a clean-core public cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Run Fit-to-Standard workshops with finance and treasury stakeholders; design and configure FI/CO (AP, Banking & Cash Management, payments; supporting GL, AR, AA, CO) using SAP Best Practices, scope items and SSCUIs.

· Lead 2–3 full lifecycle implementations on SAP Activate, preferably including one S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition project; prepare RICEFW specifications using key user extensibility and SAP BTP side-by-side extensions.

· Lead data migration with the SAP Migration Cockpit (AP master data, open items, bank data), using advanced Excel for data sanitisation.

· Configure and manage bank connectivity through SAP MBC: onboarding, payment instruction and status flows, and bank statement flows.

· Implement and support SAP DRC for e-documents, e-invoicing (incl. Indian GST) and statutory reports, connecting to tax portals via SAP Integration Suite.

· Integrate non-SAP systems (invoice platforms, banking portals, payment hubs) via released APIs and SAP Integration Suite; support invoice processing and P2P with MM/SD.

· Provide expert support for payment run failures, MBC bank statement and status errors, and DRC e-document errors; lead month-end and year-end close for global entities (EU and US preferred).

· Run UAT and regression testing after SAP release upgrades; train end users,



maintain documentation and mentor junior consultants.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· 8–12 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience; hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience is mandatory (Fit-to-Standard, SSCUI configuration, SAP Activate, key user extensibility).

· Deep expertise in AP, Bank Account Management, electronic bank statements, payment programme and payment media; supporting knowledge of GL, AR, AA and cash management; strong MM/SD integration knowledge.

· SAP Migration Cockpit and advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query); released APIs, communication arrangements and SAP Integration Suite; 2–3 years of AP, banking or treasury domain experience and multi-country rollout exposure preferred.

1. Banking and Bank Integration with SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC)

· SAP MBC: bank onboarding, connectivity setup and bank communication via SAP Integration Suite.

· Bank accounts and payments: house banks, automatic payment programme and ISO 20022 formats (pain.001, pain.002).

· Bank statements: camt.053 and MT940 processing, posting rules and manual reconciliation; certificates, communication arrangements and exception handling.

2. SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) – Compliance Reporting

· E-document framework: configuration and monitoring of e-invoicing (incl. India e-invoice and GST) and error resolution.

· Statutory reporting: VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, SAF-T and country-specific reports, including submission and status monitoring.

· Tax authority integration and configuration: portal connectivity via SAP Integration Suite, tax codes and tax determination.

· Regulatory knowledge: India GST and EU/UK VAT; reconciling statutory reports to the general ledger.

Soft Skills, Education & Certifications

· Solid analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance or FI/CO certification preferred.
