Job Summary

Responsible for managing hospital medical equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, equipment safety, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and compliance with applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise installation, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for hospital equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical faults and coordinate with authorized service providers and vendors.
- Maintain equipment inventories, service records, breakdown reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure equipment safety, functionality, and availability for clinical departments.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, hospital administration, and technical teams.




- Monitor equipment performance, service contracts, warranties, and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
- Support equipment procurement, technical evaluation, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable biomedical equipment safety requirements and hospital policies.
- Guide junior biomedical engineers and technicians and monitor their work.

Mandatory Skill Medical equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance management.

- Medical equipment documentation and inventory control.
- Effective communication and team coordination.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
